WELCOME

Dear Wise One

This Website is an invitation

to explore the Wisdom within you;

an offer to journey with you

as you discern and strengthen

your Wisdom-Self

and bring it as a Light

into the world

and your life.

Names for Wisdom

have appeared throughout history.

King Solomon described Wisdom

as Feminine.

The Greeks named Wisdom

 *Sophia*

which was their word for

 Holy Wisdom;

Some name Her your

True Self or your Soul.

So you can see that Wisdom

has many names

which is rightly so because

when speaking of intangible things

like Wisdom, Beauty, Love

one can speak only in

allegory, metaphor, symbol…

Therefore, I want you to know

when I speak of Sophia

I am speaking symbolically

about your Feminine Soul

the beautiful Feminine Spirit

within yourself.

In future posts

we will explore

real-life girls and women

who have drawn on

their Feminine Spirit

and shown remarkable

courage of heart

assertive protection of self and others

and deep wisdom.

So even though I am using a symbolic word

*Sophia*

it doesn’t make Wisdom’s presence unreal.

She has been with you from the moment

you came into being.

She is the divine spark within you.

She is who you truly are.

And She is there to guide and love you

into the fullness of who you are.

You have heard her all of you life:

when you ask your deep questions;

when you catch your breath in those moments of

beauty and wonder and love;

when you feel a restlessness or longing for

something deep and real.

She, Wisdom, has been your invisible dancing partner

leaping and stepping and turning with you through your days.

Wise Women have sought her through the years.

And now you are seeking her with your

heart and questions and longing.

So Welcome!!

Let’s Dance!

Love,

Sophia
